During 2020, the GLCM research team adapted to the current conditions in the world affected by the pandemic by exploring the construction industry through virtual site visits from various top AEC firms where they shared their ongoing projects, adaptations for the new work environment, and upcoming trends in digital transformation and sustainability. The team had the opportunity to attend and host the "Speaker Series: A Talk with an Entrepreneur" throughout the summer and learn about different case studies in the construction market.

The team also participated in a new short course "The Construction Industry: The Way Forward" with insights from the World Economic Forum focusing on the environment, challenges, trends, and the transformation occurring in the market.
The team then divided to work into research groups to work on several projects, from digital transformation to collaborations with EC companies. Project summaries can be found within the "Studies" tab above.
